Entry #2

The first week in Siena has been amazing! The whole getting here part, flying from Denver to New York to Pisa went well and without incident. It went very smootly which is always good! My host family is also really nice! They all seem like great people, they don't speak much English though so that could be interesting. They are very understanding and patient with me though as I attempt to understand what is going on so that is good at least. So far school is going well too! I understand most of what is being said during the 100% Italian classes so that is good. I am also learning to communicate a little bit. We have started to learn some verbs and we ahve learned how to conjugate -are verbs assuming they are regular so that is a really good start I fell. Also I absolutely love Siena! It is such a cool city, especially now that i know my way around at least a little bit. It is really great and it is starting to feel like home. Studying here for another month is not going to be a problems at all and it is probably going to go by way too fast, this last week flew by super fast! So far so good, hopefully that continues!
